How we choose listings. Every place on this site is included because it earned it. We do not accept payment for inclusion, for placement in a list, or for a "local\u2019s pick" badge. If that ever changes, it will be labelled clearly on the page.

How we keep things current. Events, weather and beach conditions update automatically. Listings and guides are reviewed by hand, and each guide shows the date it was last updated.

Corrections. Hours change, restaurants close, parks close lots for repaving. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it quickly.
